Since the year 2005, Unipetrol RPA (at that time Chemopetrol) has in place a certified IMS. The quality management system, the environment management system and the health and safety management system were certified by the international organization Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
- ISO 9001 – QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
The QMS was certified step by step. Firstly pursuant to ISO 9002:1994 in the year 1996, and since the year 2002 pursuant to ISO 9001:2000. Full certification was obtained in the year 2005..
- ISO 14001 – ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)
In the year 2002, the EMS was certified in the entire company pursuant to ISO 14001:1999. In the year 2005, the system was certified pursuant to the amended ISO 14001:2004 standard.
- OHSAS 18001 – HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (HSMS)
In the year 2005, the HSMS was certified in the entire company pursuant to OHSAS 18001:1999. In the year 2008, the system was certified pursuant to the amended OHSAS 18001:2007 standard. .
- RESPONSIBLE CARE CERTIFICATE
The certificate of compliance with the requirements of the Responsible Care programme – Responsible Undertaking in the Field of Chemistry (Odpovědné podnikání v chemii) – has been defended by Unipetrol RPA (at that time CHEMOPETROL) on a regular basis since 1996. Based on the implementation of a programme aimed to improve the protection of health, environment and safety of all business-related activities, the certificates were awarded to the company by the Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic (Svaz chemického průmyslu ČR).
